The location of this guest house is stunning, surrounded by natural beauty and offering a true escape from the city. We were thrilled to discover that the staff were friendly and ready to assist in any way they could, offering a level of service that was above and beyond the norm. The food was a highlight, with plenty of variety and delicious options for every taste bud.
One major downside was the lengthy dirt road leading up to the guest house, which could be a problem for some vehicles. it was a memorable experience, but the guest house would benefit from some updates and repairs.

We spent a lovely Christmas at a guest house in the Karoo countryside with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. the rooms were clean, spacious, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast and dinners. It was also fascinating to get a glimpse of farm life, and they went the extra mile to organize a tour for us. We also had a great time stargazing at night.
The family room we stayed in was not air-conditioned, and it got a bit stuffy during the hot weather. the bathroom facilities were not en-suite, which was a bit of a hassle, particularly when traveling with young children.
